OPINION

RAYMOND T. LYONS, Bankruptcy Judge.1

Presently before the court is a dispute surrounding the computation of the debt- or’s tax liability for tax years 1986 and 1987. The District Court remanded the matter to the Bankruptcy Court following a decision by the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. In re Pransky, 318 F.3d 536 (3d Cir.2003). The Circuit affirmed the District Court’s holding that refunds for 1984 and 1985 were barred by the statute of limitations, and directed that on remand the Bankruptcy Court should determine the validity of the IRS’s proof of claim.
