Kaiser-Ducett Corporation (petitioner) as general contractor entered into a written agreement for building of a nursing home. Petitioner then entered into a written agreement with a subcontractor, Housewrights, Inc. (respondent). A dispute arose between the parties. Respondent instituted proceedings before the American Arbitration Association and obtained an award of *5268.50. Petitioner filed suit in the circuit court praying that the award be vacated (Ill.
