GRUENDER, Circuit Judge.
Felix Somoza Garcia (“Somoza”), a native and citizen of Guatemala, petitions for review of a Board of Immigration Appeals (“BIA”) order dismissing his request for asylum, withholding of removal, and relief under the Convention Against Torture (“CAT”). For the following reasons, we deny the petition.
I. Background
Somoza illegally entered the United States through Arizona in June 2002. On November 15, 2009, the Department of Homeland Security (“DHS”) charged him with removal as an alien present in the United States without having been admitted or paroled. See 8 U.S.C. §…
