In a negligence action to recover damages for personal injuries, etc., defendant New York City Transit Authority appeals from an order of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Vitale, J.), dated October 24,1980, which (1) granted plaintiffs’ motion to set aside a jury verdict in favor of the Transit Authority on the ground that it was contrary to the weight of the evidence, and (2) directed a new trial.
