EXUM, Chief Justice.

On 14 March 1988, defendant was indicted for first degree burglary, robbery with a dangerous weapon and the murder of Mildred Hendrix Foster. Defendant pled guilty to the two burglary charges against him. At trial, a jury found defendant guilty of first degree murder. After a capital sentencing hearing, the jury *405recommended the death penalty for defendant. The trial court sentenced defendant to death. Defendant appeals from that judgment.
