MARSHALL, District Judge.
In the case of the United States v. Haskell et al. a motion has been interposed to quash the indictment, and by agreement of counsel, as I understand, this motion is also to be considered to apply to two other indictments found by the same grand jury at the same time and charging substantially the same offense. The grounds of the motion, so far as it is necessary to state them, are:(1) Misconduct of the prosecuting officers of the government before the grand jury while the causes were being investigated by that body and before the finding of an indictment.(2) The…
