Defendant, Ernest Lee Bratcher, appeals from a judgment entered foHowing a jury trial for the offense of aggravated battery in violation of section 12— 4(b)(6) of the Criminal Code (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1973, ch. 38, par. 12—4(b)(6)) and from a sentence imposed of 2 to 10 years’ imprisonment. Defendant was charged with two counts of aggravated battery.
