On June 26, 2015, Giovanni Ferrarese (“petitioner”) commenced an action against Vinda Shaw, a/k/a Maima Dassin, a/k/a Tata Shaw (“defendant”), seeking to secure the immediate return of plaintiffs child and to ensure petitioner’s rights of custody pursuant to the Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction and the International Child Abduction Remedies Act.
