The National Bank of Syracuse at all the times mentioned was incorporated and doing business as a national bank under the national banking laws, and had its principal office and place of business in the city of Syracuse, N. Y. Walter E. Northrup and Robert A. Hill were copartners, engaged in a private banking business under the name of Central Bank of Oneida, N. Y., and they had their office and principal place of business in the city of Oneida, N. Y.
