Defendant was charged with nine counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct (CSC-1), MCL 750.520b(l)(a) (victim under age 13), arising out of various acts of sexual penetration involving his daughter. Following a jury trial, defendant was convicted of seven counts of CSC-1, with the jury acquitting defendant on the first count in the felony information and the trial court granting a directed verdict on the information’s second count.
