On May 4,1955, appellants Robert Hulsebus and Sam Dere, with certain other defendants, were indicted in indictment Number 7384, on two felony counts under section 182, subdivision 1 of the Penal Code (conspiracy) in conspiring to violate section 11501 of the Health and Safety Code.
