WECHSLER, Judge.

{1} Walter E. Heller Western, Inc. (Heller Western) obtained a judgment against Gary Keith Ditto (Ditto) in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Mexico on August 18, 1982. On August 13, 1996, Heller Western filed a complaint in the Bernalillo County District Court to revive the judgment alleging that the judgment remained fully undischarged and unpaid. Ditto filed a motion to dismiss for lack of subject-matter jurisdiction on the basis that an action for revival of a judgment must be brought in the original action in the court which rendered the judgment.…
