On July 9, 1925, the grand jury of Sebastian County (Greenwood District) returned •two indictments against the defendant, Lee Hayes, for the unlawful sale of intoxicating liquor, in one case the sale being charged to have been made on March 30,1925, and in the other case the sale being charged to have been made on July 4, 1925. He was tried separately on each indictment and convicted, and has appealed from each of the judgments of conviction.
