*513In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, the defendant appeals from an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County (G. Aronin, J.), dated August 3, 2004, which denied its motion for summary judgment dismissing the complaint.
Ordered that the order is affirmed, with costs.
The plaintiff alleged that on December 16, 2000, he sustained injuries when he slipped on an icy/snowy platform portion of a stairway outside his residence in Queens, which was owned by the defendant.
