Alleging a violation of her constitutional rights in its refusal to renew her contract of employment for the school year 1968-69, the plaintiff, a non-tenured high school teacher, brought this action against the defendant School Board, the superintendent and principal under the Civil Rights Act of 1871, 42 U.S.C. § 1983, seeking injunctive relief, back pay, attorney’s fees and court costs.
