Marx Transport, Inc. (Marx), a motor carrier, brought this action in the circuit court of Cook County seeking to recover freight charges relating to over-the-road shipments of goods picked up from a facility owned by Corning, Inc. (Corning), located in Harrodsburg, Kentucky, and shipped to two airports for overseas delivery between January 30, 2003, and May 8, 2003. North American Expediting, Inc.
