The appellee, Oswald A. Cannon, instituted this suit in equity against the appellants, who are his brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews, seeking to enforce a certain parol agreement whereby he claimed that he was entitled to a conveyance of approximately seventy-five acres of land which belonged to his mother, Sarah E. Cannon, at the time of her death. His claim is that his mother agreed to give him the land at her death if he would furnish her with a home and support her during the remainder of her life.
