OPINION

BAKER, Judge.

Appellant-defendant Namon Mathis appeals his convictions for Murder, 1 a felony, and Carrying a Handgun Without a License, 2 a class A misdemeanor. Specifically, Mathis argues that: (1) the trial court erred in excluding evidence demonstrating that another individual may have committed the murder; (2) double jeopardy principles were violated when the trial court entered judgments of conviction and sentenced Mathis on both counts; and (3) the trial court assessed a public defender fee and costs in excess of that permitted by statute.
