MEMORANDUM OPINION

WILLIAMS, Senior District Judge.

I. INTRODUCTION.

This case is before the court on petitioners’ motion to vacate an arbitration award. The challenged arbitration decision found that petitioners, Vulcan Chemical Technologies, Inc., (VCT) and Vulcan Materials Company, (VMC), breached a contract between the parties by terminating the respondent, Philip J. Barker, without cause and by breaching other obligations under the agreement. Having heard from all parties on brief and by way of oral argument, it is the opinion of the court that the petitioners’ motion is ripe for decision.…
