Shirley Yarbray (plaintiff) brought an action against Southern Bell Telephone & Telegraph Company (“Southern Bell”), alleging invasion of privacy, intentional infliction of emotional distress and defamation. Southern Bell denied the material allegations of the complaint and moved for summary judgment.
