This appeal follows a conviction for the offense of burglary in the third degree, in violation of § 13A-7-7, Code of Alabama (1975), and sentence of four years' imprisonment. For the reasons outlined below, we affirm.

On the evening of March 29, 1983, the residence of Catherine Miller was burglarized. Prior to the burglary, a police officer observed the appellant walking toward Mrs. Miller's house. After the burglary, police officers were summoned and observed the appellant approximately 75 yards from the scene of the crime.
