Ralph Beauchamp was in the employ of defendant in its yards at West Bay City as a member of its switching crew on February 21, 1923. He was thrown from the top of a box car by its impact with a car coupled to the locomotive, and sustained injuries from which he died a few hours later. Plaintiff, as administratrix of his estate, brings this action to recover damages therefor. She had verdict for $15,000.
