for the Court:

¶ 1. Gary Allen Glidden was convicted of one count of possession of a controlled substance as defined by Mississippi Code Section 41-29-139(c) (Rev.2009). The Circuit Court for the First Judicial District of Harrison County, Judge Roger T. Clark presiding, sentenced Glidden to serve a term of four years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Judge Clark also sentenced Glidden to serve his imprisonment as an habitual offender under the provisions of Mississippi Code Section 99-19-81 (Rev.2007). After the trial…
