This case involves the final account of Dorsey Fletcher as guardian of the person and estate of Alice J. Moyer, formerly Alice J. Fletcher. Mahlon Fletcher, who was a brother of Dorsey, died testate, June 8, 1867, leaving two children, Alice J., aged five, and Barbara, aged three years, his legatees. Zachariah Fletcher' was appointed executor, and proceeded to administer the estate. *510The defendant adopted Barbara as his own child, and on the third day of February, 1868, he was duly appointed guardian of the person and estate of the child Alice J., whom he also took into his own family to…
