Within the thirty day period for filing a petition for rehearing after the order affirming the judgment appealed from in this case, a communication was received from the appellant signed in his own name and addressed to the court, which was directed to be filed, as a petition for a rehearing, although not so entitled; the appellant, although represented in the cause by other counsel, being, himself, an attorney in good standing in this court.
