This cause is before the Court on defendant’s motion for a reduction of sentence pursuant to Rule 35 F.R.Crim.P. On December 2, 1974, this Court sentenced defendant to a prison term of one year after a jury found him guilty of subscribing to a false income tax return for 1969 by under-reporting his gross income, in violation of 26 U.S.C. § 7206(1). On appeal, the Seventh Circuit affirmed the conviction, United States v. Wigoda, 521 F.2d 1221 (7th Cir. 1975), and certiorari was denied by the Supreme Court on March 1,…
