On October 28, 1986, James E. Broccar-do, Jr. (“Broccardo”), enrolled in an Aetna Life Insurance plan offered by his employer, Bell & Howell Mail Processing Systems Company (“Bell & Howell”). Broc-cardo named his wife, Tanya Broccardo (“Tanya”), as beneficiary of the proceeds on his life insurance policy. On October 15, 1988, Broccardo and Tanya divorced, and more than three years later, on January 17,1992, Broccardo was married to the appellant, Lori Wise (“Wise”).
