The plaintiffs in the trial court, the defendants in error in this court, are the sons and daughters of Mrs. M. C. Long. They brought this suit under the statute to recover damages for injuries resulting to them from the death of their mother, which was al leged to have been caused by the negligence of the defendant, the San Antonio & Aransas Pass Railway Company. The petition alleged that the youngest of plaintiffs was 24 years old on the day of the accident which resulted in Mrs. Long’s death.
