*754In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, etc., the defendants appeal from so much of an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Solomon, J.), dated July 14, 2005, as denied their motion for summary judgment dismissing the complaint, and the plaintiffs cross-appeal, as limited by their brief, from so much of the same order as denied their cross motion for summary judgment on so much of their first cause of action as alleged a violation of Labor Law § 240 (1).
Ordered that the order is modified, on the law, by deleting the provision thereof denying those branches of the…
