On August 1, 1946, the defendant was brought before a magistrate on a complaint and warrant charging that on or about May 3, 1946, he did accost, entice, solicit or suggest to one Gerald Mahon, a male child under the age of 16 years, that he submit to an act of sexual intercourse with one Blanche Preston, an adult female, contrary to the provisions of section 145a of Act No. 328, Pub.
