Per Curiam:.

The parties appeal as of right from orders of the Ingham Circuit Court. This case involves a dispute over plaintiff Patricia A. Russell’s eligibility for supplemental benefits available under MCL 791.263a; MSA 28.2323(1) to Department of Corrections employees injured as a result of an inmate assault. We affirm the decision of the *157circuit court and remand for further proceedings consistent with this opinion.
