The question presented in this case is whether a pretrial motion to suppress based upon constitutional principles, along with argument made to the trial court in support of that motion, was sufficient also to preserve error under Chapter 14 of the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure. We conclude that it was not obvious to the trial court or opposing counsel that the appellant was also invoking state law.
