Plaintiff in error, Kenneth Season, hereinafter called defendant, was tried in the criminal court of Cook county by the court without a jury on an indictment charging that he unlawfully carried and concealed on or about his person a pistol, in violation of paragraph 155 of chapter 38, Illinois Revised Statutes 1947 [Jones Ill. Stats. Ann. 37.117]. The court found defendant guilty and sentenced him to the county jail for a period of ninety days and he prosecutes this writ of error to reverse the judgment.
