TURSI, Judge.
The defendant, George William Burns, was convicted by a jury of felony murder pursuant to § 18-3-102(l)(b), C.R.S.1973 (1978 Repl.Vol. 8), based upon the enumerated underlying felonies of second degree burglary, second degree kidnapping, and aggravated robbery. Defendant was additionally convicted of theft. On appeal defendant contends that the trial court erred in refusing to instruct the jury on self-defense as it pertains to the felony murder charge.
