The plaintiff herein commenced an action in the City Court against the defendants to recover damages upon two causes of action. The first was for damages sustained by the plaintiff as landlord because she was deprived of possession of premises 129 West 86th Street by the acts and conduct of the defendants in obtaining “ stays of all proceedings ” in the Appellate Term and then in this court, pending appeals by the defendants from a final order awarding possession to the plaintiff.
