MEMORANDUM AND ORDER

SAFFELS, District Judge.

Petitioner, an inmate of the Kansas State Penitentiary, Lansing, Kansas, having been granted leave to proceed in forma pauperis, has filed with the clerk of the court this petition for writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. Petitioner challenges his conviction in the state of Kansas of three counts of kidnapping, one count of aggravated kidnapping, and one count of aggravated robbery.
