On November 26, 1927, the county court of Winnebago county entered an order confirming a special assessment against a parcel of land described as the west 150 feet of the tract for the construction of a public sewer in Bockton avenue. The proceeding was prosecuted by the city of Bockford under the Local Improvement Act. The assessment is payable ■ in 10 annual instalments some of which are past due and unpaid and some of which have not yet matured. When the assessment was made, the tract was not platted into lots.
