It appears that a petition was filed in the superior court of Kern County sitting in special session as a juvenile court, which asked that Nadine Hill be declared a dependent child under subdivision 4 of section 1 of the Juvenile Court Act (Stats. 1915, p. 1225). Cruelty of the mother was alleged in the petition as the ground for the child being declared dependent. A hearing was held on June 22', 1925, and thereafter on the same day the following order was entered: “ . . .
