The purchaser of two restaurants sold in a chapter 11 bankruptcy proceeding seeks declaratory relief to enforce the provisions of the sale order and to enjoin judgment creditors from executing judgment on it in a local court proceeding. The court addresses whether the debtor and the purchaser provided adequate notice to these judgment creditors of the debtor’s bankruptcy filing and of the sale motion to bar them from prosecuting their claims against the purchaser in local court.
