LEADBETTER, Judge.
Nick Leftheris appeals an order of the Court of Common Pleas of Mercer County (trial court), which dismissed his statutory appeal of a one year suspension of his operating privilege. We affirm.
Pursuant to the Driver’s License Compact (Compact), 75 Pa.C.S. § 1581, 1 the Department of Transportation (Department) suspended Leftheris’ operating privilege for one year after it received notice from the Ohio Department of Transportation that Leftheris had been convicted in Ohio on October 16, 1997 of driving under the influence (DUI).
