PIVARNIK, Justice.
Appellant Edward L.'Henderson was convicted, after a trial by jury, of first-degree murder, in the Lake Superior Court, Criminal Division, and was sentenced to life imprisonment on November 7, 1974. His conviction was appealed to the Indiana Supreme Court and was affirmed. Henderson v. State, (1976) 264 Ind. 334, 343 N.E.2d 776. On February 2, 1978, appellant filed a petition for post-conviction relief.
