Dorothy Shald (Dorothy), petitioner-appellant herein, has appealed to this court from a decree en tered by the district court for Sheridan County, Nebraska, dissolving the marriage of Dorothy and Patrick J. Shald (Patrick), the respondent-appellee. In its decree entered on April 11, 1983, the trial court found that the marriage between the parties was irretrievably broken, and dissolved the marital relationship.
