hi respectfully dissent from the majority opinion in this case, which dismissed the class action claims of the Orleans Parish School Board (“OPSB”) teachers and employees who were subjected to mass termination immediately following Hurricane Katrina. The majority finds that plaintiffs’ claims are barred by res judicata, and further held that even if res judicata did not apply, the defendants did not violate the plaintiffs’ due process rights.
