CRIST, Presiding Judge.

Rule 27.26 motion to vacate judgment and sentence. The trial court denied the motion and we affirm.

On October 23,1973, movant was convicted by a jury of carrying a concealed weapon *114and assault with intent to kill with malice in the Circuit Court of the City of St. Louis. The defendant was sentenced to terms of five years for carrying a concealed weapon and twenty-five years for assault with intent to kill with malice. The sentences were to run consecutively.

At the time defendant was sentenced, § 546.480, RSMo. 1969 was in effect, which provided:
