Appellants are the City of Schenectady (the “City”), five of its police officers (the “officers”) and the officers’ attorney; they appeal from a judgment entered after a jury trial in the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York (Thomas J. McAvoy, Judge). The City assails a jury award of damages against it and the individual defendants for malicious prosecution.
