G. W. Stephens, as county attorney of McCreary county, and in the name of the county, brought in the McCreary Circuit Court his petition in equity against W. A. Bryant, county treasurer of McCreary county, Walker, the county clerk, Williams, the county judge, and Moore, Anderson, Roberts, Shepherd, Keith and Richardson, the magistrates of the county, who, in conjunction with the county judge, compose the fiscal court, and against certain banks and manufacturing companies.
