Ferrell sued the Yaldes Hotel Company, a corporation, for certain amounts "which he alleged he had expended in necessary repairs upon the Yaldes Hotel. The amounts expended consisted of a number of items set out in an exhibit to the plaintiff's petition, aggregating about $1,100. The list of the expenditures was itemized, and, so far as appears from the petition, the repairs were necessary and the expenditures were reasonable in amount.
