OPINION
Justice ROBINSON for the Court.
The defendant, Christopher Langstaff, appeals from his conviction by a jury in the Newport County Superior Court on a single count of second-degree child molestation sexual assault. This case came before the Supreme Court for oral argument pursuant to an order directing the parties to show cause why the issues raised in this appeal should not be summarily decided.
