Kathleen Segerson, president of the Newport Teachers’ Association (the union), and Thomas P. Foley, Jr. (Foley), plaintiff in intervention, are appealing from a Superior Court judgment that vacated an arbitration award granted under the terms of the collective bargaining agreement (the agreement) between the union and the School Committee of the City of Newport (the school committee).
