This was an action for divorce, in which a decree was granted to the plaintiff husband upon his petition. The wife was denied a decree for separate maintenance on her cross-petition, and appeals to this court.
On December 15, 1941, the plaintiff, James H. Gibson, filed petition for divorce, alleging that he had lived in Holt county all his life; that he is a member of the board of county supervisors; that the defendant is cross and unreasonable and cruel with his two daughters by his' first marriage, and has slapped them and abused them.
